Thank you for the question! Some Android phones have the "Split Screen" option, which is very useful! This video showcases how this option works on an Android tablet: bit.ly/4cCbD8F. To do this, connect your Google Sheet with our app by clicking the connect icon in our app, then choose Google Sheets (Drive) as an option, link your Google account, and pick the target worksheet. If you have the Split Screen option, you can watch how your codes are collected in Sheets while scanning. If not, you'll be able to see the results once you’re done scanning. This tool can be downloaded from our website and connects the app on your phone with your Mac. Unfortunately, the features are limited with this tool, but it's worth. Hello! Thank you for your interest in Scan-IT to Office. I'm assuming you're talking about MS Excel. You would have to use our free Add-On for Excel (available in the MS Office Store) to insert data into your spreadsheet. Every device sending data has to be connected at least once to this Add-On by scanning a QR code. To insert data, the Excel spreadsheet has to be open and the Add-On has to be running all the time. Hi! Thank you for your interest in Scan-IT to Office. Images should not be stored in a MS Access table and for that, we don't support this feature. We would recommend saving images in a folder on your PC and just insert the file path to the image in to your Access table. If you're interested in this solution, please contact our technical support at support@tec-it.com. To send data to a target, you just need to pair the device with the target by scanning the pairing code. For Google Sheets (Drive) connections it's different: You don't need a pairing code - instead provide Google credentials with access to the Google worksheet in question. Hi, thank you very much for your question! You can do it in Office Add-ins: 1. Click on the desired field. 2. Go to the options tab. 3. Select "Insert at current selection > Select next row automatically" for codes to go into the chosen column (e.g., C column). 4. For horizontal row placement, choose "Insert at current selection > Select next cell automatically (horizontal)" to fill the next cell horizontally. This is a generic barcode/2D code generator. It creates the selected code type with your data without knowing your application. In general, putting your data into a barcode refers to entering the specific information you want to encode, such as numbers, letters, or other data, into the barcode generator. First you need to setup a new ODBC Data Source (important: 32 bit!) for your SQL server on operating system level. Then configure the connection string in Smart Database Connector to use this DSN. Scan-IT to Office can be used on any Android-based mobile computing equipment meeting the basic requirements. Support for built-in hardware scanning engines is currently only available for ZEBRA devices, on Honeywell devices the camera scanner is used. Please contact support@tec-it.com to discuss details. Hello! Are you using Google Chrome? If so, please install the Scan-IT to Office Web extension in Chrome (see chromewebstore.google.com/detail/mobile-data-collection-sc/ijemakhbbjajapbmdonhjmfkkcpliafp). 1) Activate the extension by clicking on its icon and selecting "Start". 2) In the app, add a new Google Chrome connection (App menu -> Connections). 3) Pair the Scan-IT to Office App with the extension by scanning the QR code. 4) Select "Replace data in input element" and "Invoke submit action after insert" in the Chrome extension's Options. Now, scanned data is forwarded to the active input element in Chrome, and a form submit is triggered automatically. Hope this helps! Many thanks for your comment! You need to create a custom form with the required fields. In the menu select "Forms" -> "Create New Form". Provide a form title and add the required data fields ("Add Fields"). Arrange the order of the fields by dragging them. When finshed, leave the form edior and activate the newly created form by tapping on its name. You can switch back to the standard scanner view by opening "Forms" and tapping onto "Scanner view". Hi! I'm unsure about your exact question. Please provide details either here or via mail to support@tec-it.com. Usually, you just need to select the barocde type of interest (eg. Code128 - which is a linear barcode), enter your data and download the image. Hope this helps, TEC-IT

Are you referring to multiple users scanning into a single Excel sheet? Scan-IT to Office fills row by row (or column by column, see options tab in the add-in). Unfortunately, it's not possible to specify a specific cell or column for a user. As a workaround, you may select the transmission of the device id or the device name (see options as well), using these identifiers you can assign scanned values to devices (and users). Hello! Without a subscription, you can scan codes and export or share the “History” as a CSV file (see the app menu). To use connections to target applications without restrictions, you need a subscription, otherwise the message “Demo - please subscribe ...” will appear at irregular intervals. The price in pesos for an annual subscription is currently approximately MXN 780.
